Profile >>> Who We Are >>> Management Team >>> Dr. Fred Laufer, MD Dr. Fred Laufer, MD Dr. Fred Laufer joined APEX Radiology as the Chief Medical Officer and a working partner in the company in 1996. Dr. Laufer has been practicing radiology for 12 years, focusing on teleradiology for the past four. In addition to maintaining a full "case load", Dr. Laufer works with APEX's physician radiologists in connection with medical issues and protocols, and is heavily involved in new technology assessment. He is the primary contact within the organization for any medical issue. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Swarthmore College and his M.D. from New York State University, Downstate Medical College. Dr. Laufer is board certified in both Internal medicine and Radiology.
